About Us

Welcome to Pawprints Dog Salon

Pawprints Dog Salon is a refined grooming experience designed for those who expect nothing but the highest standard of care for their dogs. We combine expert craftsmanship with a calm environment to ensure every visit is as comfortable as it is exceptional.

Our approach is rooted in precision, patience, and attention to detail. Each groom is thoughtfully tailored to enhance your dog’s natural features while maintaining coat health, comfort, and style. From breed-specific trims to beautifully finished scissor work, every service reflects a commitment to quality without compromise.

We understand that grooming is not just about appearance — it’s about trust. Trust is at the foundation of everything we do. We understand that leaving your dog in someone else’s care is a significant decision, and we take that responsibility seriously. That’s why we prioritize a gentle, low-stress experience where your dog feels safe, and cared for at every stage. From your first visit to every appointment that follows, our focus remains the same — consistency, transparency, and a standard of care you can rely on.

At Pawprints, we don’t rush the process. We take the time to do it right — delivering a polished, consistent result that speaks for itself.

For those who value professionalism, consistency, and a truly elevated grooming experience, Pawprints sets a new standard.

Our Team

I’m Jaclyn, the proud new owner of Pawprints Dog Salon.

With over 15 years of professional grooming experience, my journey in the industry began while working part-time as I attended university, originally pursuing a path toward becoming a teacher. It quickly became clear that my true passion lay in dog grooming — a profession that blends technical skill, artistry, and genuine compassion.

I joined Pawprints Dog Salon in 2015, after spending five years grooming professionally prior to that, and have been deeply rooted in this salon and community ever since. Over the years, Pawprints has become more than just a workplace — it’s a place I’ve helped shape, grow, and now proudly lead.
I have always loved dogs and have been fortunate to share my life with them for as long as I can remember. Today, I’m the proud owner of three dogs — Dexter, Mini, and Oz — who continually remind me of the trust our pets place in us. That trust is something I never take lightly.

I believe exceptional grooming goes far beyond appearance. Every dog is treated with patience, respect, and individualized care, recognizing that each pet has their own comfort level, personality, and needs. Whether a dog is nervous, senior, energetic, or simply visiting for routine maintenance, my priority is always their safety, emotional well-being, and comfort throughout the entire grooming experience.

Throughout my career, I’ve remained dedicated to refining my craft — staying current with best practices, improving techniques, and continually raising my own standards. From coat health and skin care to handling methods and breed-specific styling, I approach grooming with intention, precision, and a commitment to excellence.

I’m incredibly proud to continue growing Pawprints Dog Salon and to provide a calm, welcoming space where pets feel secure and owners feel confident knowing their dogs are in caring, experienced hands.

With more than 35 years as a professional groomer, Manuela Meyer has built a career rooted in compassion, experience, and a true love for animals. K9 First Aid Certified, she has owned and operated two grooming salons and spent decades growing Pawprints Dog Salon Inc into a welcoming place for pets and their people. Along the way, Manuela competed in grooming competitions, led educational clinics, and helped train and inspire many new groomers entering the industry.

After recently passing Pawprints on to a trusted longtime groomer, Manuela is enjoying a new chapter—focusing on her wonderful clients, her family, and the things she loves most: time with her grandson, her four horses, and her little sidekick, Rip

Hello and welcome,

My name is Sandy, I am a veteran groomer at Pawprints. I started my grooming journey as the bather in 1998 until Manuela, (the original owner of Pawprints dog salon ) insisted that she train me to be a groomer in 2000. Turned out to be a great decision, because I cant see myself doing anything else.

Over the years I gained extra knowledge through many professional grooming seminars, which helped me to hone in on my scissoring and clipping techniques. I specialize in all breed grooming clips. And I strive to make every groom a stress-free experience, with gentle handling and reading body language, including listening closely to my clients wants and needs for their pets as well.

Whether it be a new wiggly puppy to an anxious senior pup, and all in between, my experience gives me the knowledge to work with your pups to keep them feeling safe, calm and leaving happy and looking their best.
Over my career I have made many friendships with so many people and their pups, with a lot of my clients coming to me with their second generation of pets.

I am honored to be entrusted with your family members and I take that very seriously. Seriousness aside, I love to snuggle with my furry clients and get wet kisses in return. Every one shows me that they appreciate the time and care I take with them.
Hope to see you soon.

Hi, I’m Stephanie! I’ve known since I was a child that my life’s work would involve animals. That lifelong dream to understand our four-legged friends led me to earn my B.Sc. in Animal Biology, a degree that provides me with a deep understanding of canine health and anatomy. My passion was further inspired by my years with my Border Collie, Milo, who taught me so much about the unique bond we share with our dogs.

I joined the Pawprints Dog Salon team in 2012, and since then, I’ve dedicated my career to ensuring every dog leaves not just looking their best, but feeling their best too. I believe that grooming should never be stressful; patience and understanding are the most important tools in my kit. Whether your pet needs a precision cut or a gentle touch for a nervous temperament, I am here to provide a safe, expert experience.

I treat every dog with the same care and respect that I give my own animals. When I’m not at the salon, you can usually find me at my family farm spending time with my horse, Finn.

I can’t wait to meet your pups!

Tori has dreamed of becoming a groomer since grade six and started her journey at Pawprints Dog Salon in 2019 as a bather, She quickly fell in love with grooming and now styles both dogs and cats with patience, gentleness, and care.

Tori has two Shetland Sheepdogs, Dexter and Coley, who are her best friends! She feels grateful to work with animals she loves and to help bring joy to both pets and their people.

Hi, im Samantha, my love for animals has been part of me for as long as I can remember – growing up, you could always find me with a dog by my side. I entered the grooming world at 17 as a bather and groomer’s assistant and quickly discovered the perfect place to blend my creativity and passion for dogs. From there, I gained experience in various salons allowing me to expand my knowledge and refine my grooming skills. I approach each groom with patience, care, and a gentle touch, always striving to provide a calm and positive experience to each pup. I’m truly grateful for the trust each client places in me when caring for their beloved pets. Outside of the salon, you’ll find me at the cottage, spending time with family, or on a hike with my dog, Bear.

Hi! I’m Ming (Miwa) and I’m likely the first voice you’ll hear when you call and the first face you’ll see when you walk through our doors.

I handle everything from scheduling your pet “spa” day to ensuring our groomers have all the details they need to make your pets look their best. I understand that your pet is a member of your family, and I’m here to make their visit as smooth, safe and stress free as possible. My favorite part of the day is definitely the greeting wags! I can’t wait to meet you and your pet at your next appointment!
